Transfer external link to planning entry

I would like to be able to transfer the external link from the project master data to the planning entry. I would like to do this with a global switch in the settings "Transfer external link from project to planning". This setting prevents users who do not want the feature from experiencing any negative consequences and the system remains downward compatible.
