Hours: Target vs. Actual Comparison

Now we “just” need the option to enter the total hours (e.g., 1,200 hours) under “Projects” and, if necessary, the option to enter the “remaining hours” for the project under “Reports.” So, if two people worked 8 hours a day for two weeks, my example would show:

Total hours for Project 4711: 1200h

Employee Müller 10 days * 8 hours -80 hours

Employee Meier 10 days * 8h -80h

Remaining hours : 1040h

We have construction sites that run for over 4 months, some even for over 1.5 years. For the site manager, this setting is extremely important for seeing at a glance how construction progress relates to the budget.

Of course, it should be possible to adjust the total hours (e.g., due to change orders)

and a “reminder” (e.g., …you have reached 50% of the planned hours, …you are currently using more hours than calculated) would also be helpful.
