Locking individual fields in the form

It would be helpful if some fields in the form could be locked as soon as they have been filled in.
Background: If you continue to fill in or maintain a form over a longer period of time, you run the risk of accidentally removing a signature/deleting the entry. (Especially if several colleagues need to access a form).
