Create hierarchies for employee and visibility permissions

We would like to see a feature in 123 that allows us to map clear hierarchies within the employee structure.

By this we mean a simple hierarchical structure, similar to a pyramid, for example:

Executive Management
Department Management
Project Management
Construction Management
Skilled workers

The goal is to be able to control the visibility of employees based on these hierarchical levels.

In general, individuals at a higher hierarchical level should be able to see all individuals at the levels below them. For example:

Skilled workers should only be able to see themselves.
Site managers should be able to see all skilled workers, but not other site managers or higher-ranking individuals.
Project managers should be able to see all site managers and all skilled workers, but not other project managers or higher-ranking individuals.
Division managers should be able to see all project managers, site managers, and skilled workers.
Management should be able to see all levels accordingly.

Currently, we have tried to map this structure using roles and teams. While this is technically possible to some extent, it was very time-consuming and counterintuitive in practice. Furthermore, it resulted in our actual team structure becoming confusing or disorganized, even though the teams are actually needed for other organizational purposes.

A separate hierarchy feature or a clearer way to control employee visibility would therefore be very helpful. This would allow companies to better reflect their actual organizational structure without having to misuse roles and teams.
