Global address groups

It is incomprehensible why you can create address groups globally, but have to reassign the members of these address groups to each project ?
What is the point? For example, if you create the address group "Column 1", then this "Column 1" has the same composition for each project. In 123erfasst, however, you have to create this address group again and again with the same members for each project.
