Readiness is not absence

For us, on-call duty is not direct working time, but on-call duty.

It is therefore usually a normal working day and is also remunerated.

There is a daily flat rate for on-call duty. If the colleagues are on call and then, for example, call at night, this time is of course remunerated with the corresponding allowances.

Perhaps it makes sense to make an extra on-call schedule or to integrate it into the schedule in some other way.

Especially as we (in civil engineering and road construction) never have one colleague on call alone. We in the office, who enter employees for standby, can see who is scheduled when. But the colleagues outside, who need to know who the second or third colleague is, don't see it immediately. Here, too, it would be nice to have an "On-call" tab in the planning (app version). Everyone could then click up there and you would immediately see who is on call with whom.
